Facebook Transparency Update - How to locate your Facebook Transparency and Page ID in 2026

Due to the recent updates from Meta and their Desire to increase security and transparency around Meta related apps especially Facebook and Instagram, Facebook is not showing more information to page owners about their pages and Businesses.

For example you can now see names that you are also know as from data gotten from across the internet. e.g Avant Tech NG is our user name of Facebook hence Facebook has crawled the interner and now shows us what we are also know as across the internet.

Where can I find my Page Transparency on Facebook?

Previously, you could find Page Transparency under About on your facebook page as indicated in many contents on how to locate Page Transparency.

It is important to know that you can only find Transparency now when you click the facebook name directly and not under About.

So here is a breakdown

Switch into your page as if you want to manage it
Click on the page name
You will see a pop up showing your Page Transparency

Where can I find my Facebook Page ID?

Up until last year 2025 you could find your Page ID under under About > Page Transparency. But that has been changed now.

To locate your Page ID you need to navigate to Meta Business Suite. To view your Page ID, follow these steps

Navitage to Meta Business Suite. https://business.facebook.com/
Click settings in the left side bar https://business.facebook.com/latest/settings
Under Accounts click on Pages and your page ID would appear on your right under your Page name.

Alternately you can view your Page ID in the URL of your Meta Business Suite for example.
